GAZA CITY – Palestinian resistance group Hamas on Saturday condemned the killing of three Palestinians by Israeli forces in the West Bank and held the self-proclaimed Jewish state fully responsible for the deaths.
"The killing of the three resistance fighters is a grisly Zionist crime," Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said in a statement.
"We hold the occupation government fully responsible for the consequences of the killings and other Israeli crimes," he added.
Three Palestinians, including Hamas member Hamza Abu al-Hija, were killed Saturday when Israeli forces raided the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank.
Barhoum argued that the "Israeli crime exposes the ugliness of the security cooperation between the Palestinian Authority and Israeli occupation".
