Football: Fenerbahce move closer to title

ANKARA - Matchday 27 in the Turkish Spor Toto Super League completed on Monday.
League leaders Fenerbahce reached 60 points to increase the point gap to 10 against their rivals Galatasaray and Besiktas despite them still having one match to play.
Fenerbahce cruised past Bursaspor 3-0 on Monday. Dutch forward Dirk Kuyt, Senegalese striker Moussa Sow and Cameroonian central forward Pierre Webo's goals brought glory to the "yellow-navies".
Meanwhile, runners-up Galatasaray drew against Torku Konyaspor in an away match on Saturday with the game ending 0-0.
Besiktas, who are third in the standings, lost to Kardemir Karabukspor 1-0 on Friday. In the second half during injury time, home team Karabukspor's central forward Michael Eneramo, who had been loaned from Besiktas, upset his former team by scoring the winning goal for Kardemir Karabukspor.
Next week football fans in Turkey will have the opportunity to watch the derby game between two Istanbulite giants, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce at Turk Telekom Arena on April 6.
