Witnesses said an Israeli army ambulance had taken the wounded Palestinian to Israel

NABLUS, West Bank – A young Palestinian was wounded late Sunday when an Israeli soldier shot him in the back near a village south of the West Bank city of Nablus.

Witnesses told Anadolu Agency that an Israeli army force had opened fire on a group of Palestinians who had tried to throw a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli vehicle.

They said an Israeli army ambulance had taken the wounded Palestinian to Israel.

The Israeli military immediately blocked the main road south of Nablus and started combing the area in pursuit of the other Palestinians.
