BENGHAZI, Libya – A Libyan policeman was burnt to death on Wednesday when militants opened fire on his car in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, a security source said.
"Mustafa al-Shetshat was burnt inside his car after he was shot by militants," the source said.
Meanwhile, an explosion rocked a Libyan army ammunition depot, the same source said.
No casualties were reported from the explosion, which destroyed a large amount of ammunition.
Libyan authorities have not commented on the two incidents yet.
Libya has been suffering political and security instability since the overthrow of strongman Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
