Dozens of school girls abducted in Nigeria

LAGOS – Suspected Boko Haram militants have abducted dozens of boarding school girls in Nigeria's restive northern state of Borno.

The abductors attack the Government Girls Secondary School in the Chibok local government area at around 10p.m. on Monday.

"They kidnapped a number of school children, killed a soldier and a police man in the sweeping attack," Yusuf Ndirbimta, a resident, told AA.

Nigerian officials were not immediately available to comment.
