ISTANBUL - In Turkish Airlines Euroleague's Final Four playoff series, the two teams to play will be determined after the fifth matches on Friday in Milan.

Spain's Barcelona who cruised past Turkish team Galatasaray Liv Hospital 3-0 and Israel's Maccabi Electra, who eliminated their Italian opponents EA7 Emporio Armani Milan 3-1 in the playoffs, have already advanced to the Final Four stage of Turkish Airlines Euroleague.

Greek teams Olympiacos and Panathinaikos each made comebacks from 2-0 in the playoff series against their opponents Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow and managed to equalise so the last two teams for the final four will be unveiled after the fifth match. 

In the fourth matches of the playoffs, Greek team Olympiacos, the last two years' winners of Turkish Airlines Euroleague, toppled Spain's Real Madrid 71-62 in their home court on Wednesday. The Greek side was victorious thanks to the efforts of Vassilis Spanoulis who scored 12 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and made 7 assists and Evangelos Mantzaris who scored 10 points and made 6 assists. Their opponents Real Madrid tried to respond with their Spanish star Rudy Fernandez who scored 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.

Meanwhile another Greek team Panathinaikos defeated Russia's CSKA Moscow closely in overtime. Panathinaikos defeated CSKA Moscow 73-72 in Athens on Wednesday. Jonas Maciulis of the Greek giants scoring 15 points and 5 rebounds, Dimitris Diamantidis' completion of the game with 7 points and 6 assists and Stephane Lasme's score of 14 points and 5 rebounds were the key factors for the win. In CSKA Moscow, the efforts of Vladimir Micov scoring 15 points and Sonny Weems with 14 points was not enough.

In the last matches of the playoff series, Real Madrid meets Olympiacos in Spain, the game in Madrid tips off at 20:45 CET. Meanwhile Russian team CSKA Moscow plays against Panathinaikos from Greece. The showdown in Moscow tips off at 18:00 CET.
