ANKARA - Spain's Real Madrid knocked last season's UEFA Champions League winners Bayern Munich out of the tournament with a 4-0 victory in Munich on Tuesday night.
In a confident display Real Madrid made the victory almost certain early on, with three first-half goals to add to their 1-0 victory in the first leg. Both Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals each to take the Spanish side to UEFA Champions League final.
Real Madrid's Portuguese attacker Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored in the tournament this season, broke Barcerlona's Lionel Messi's record for most Champions League goals in a season.
Real Madrid's Spanish midfielder Xabi Alonso cannot play in the final due to suspension.
The other semi-final will be played between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid in London, and will kick off at at 20:45 CET. The first leg ended as a 0-0 draw in Madrid.
