Orica GreenEDGE team's 21-year-old British cyclist Adam Yates wins the sixth stage of the 50th Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey

IZMIR, Turkey - British road and track racing cyclist Adam Yates from Australian team, Orica GreenEDGE, won Friday the sixth stage of 50th Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey.

Yates was victorious in the 182km stage between Bodrum and Selcuk with a time of 4 hours, 11 minutes and 46 seconds.

Italian cyclist Davide Formolo racing for Cannondale team followed Yates and Davide Rebellin from Polish team CCC Polsat Polkowice claimed third position.

In the individual rankings, Yates took first place with a time of 24 hours, 46 minutes and 57 seconds. However, Estonian Rein Taaramae from French team Cofidis Solutions Credits is only behind him by a second.

The next stage of the tour will be held tomorrow between Kusadasi and Izmir covering 132km.
