President Abdelaziz Bouteflika on Monday announced a reshuffle of Algeria's cabinet.
ALGIERS – President Abdelaziz Bouteflika on Monday announced a reshuffle of Algeria's cabinet.
In a statement, the presidency said that the changes did not include so-called "sovereign" cabinet portfolios, which include the interior, foreign affairs and defense ministries.
On April 28, Bouteflika reappointed Abdelmalek Sellal as prime minister.
Sellal had resigned the premiership in March to run Bouteflika's presidential campaign.
Bouteflika, 77, was sworn in on April 28 for a fourth five-year presidential term after winning April 17 polls.
