Turkey's Central Bank reserves down

ANKARA - Turkey's Central Bank reserves decreased by nearly US$128 million to US$129.5 billion in a week from April 25 to May 2, according to the Central Bank's weekly figures.
The Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves were down by nearly US$128 million at US$108.9 billion.
Gold reserves also decreased by US$42 million in the week to US$20.61 billion.
Turkish banks' loan volume up to US$508 billion
Turkey's banks loaned a total volume of 1.05 trillion Turkish lira (US$508 billion) between April 25 and May 2, Turkey's Central Bank said in its weekly bulletin Thursday.
The credit volume stood at 1.05 trillion Turkish lira as of April 25, increasing by 1.14 billion Turkish lira ($549 million) in a week.
The overall credit volume, excluding financials, totalled 1.03 trillion Turkish lira ($497.2 billion).
