The Court of Arbitration for Sport approves FIFA ban for Croatian international over Nazi salute

SARAJEVO - Court of Arbitration for Sport has approved the 10 match-ban given to Croatian international, Josip Simunic, by FIFA for making a Nazi salute.

Simunic performed the Nazi salute following a playoff match against Iceland in the FIFA World Cup European preliminary round in November last year.

The 36-year-old center-back is now ineligible to play for Croatia in this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
