Chelsea's veteran centre-back Terry is staying for one more season in London club

ANKARA - English Premier League giants Chelsea extended their 33-year-old veteran centre-back John Terry's contract on Wednesday. 

According to the statement made on the London club's official website, Terry will be staying on for one more season.

Terry, who has played in 621 matches for Chelsea so far, will earn 175,000 British Pounds per week.

The other two veterans of "The Blues", 35-year-old box-to-box midfielder Frank Lampard and 33-year-old left-back Ashley Cole's future are still uncertain. Both players' contracts with Chelsea are due to expire on June 30.
