Football: Spanish Liga title race ends this weekend

ANKARA - Second-place Barcelona squares off against the leader Atletico Madrid for the 2013-14 Spanish title on Saturday as the Liga comes to an end this weekend.

The match of the week will take place at the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona at 1600 GMT.

Barcelona needs to win to be crowned champions, while the Madrid squad can settle for a draw in order to win Spanish Liga title.

Atletico Madrid's directors said that their Turkish star, Arda Turan, will wear a black armband to pay his respects to the miners that died in the Soma mine disaster this past Tuesday, if the Spanish Football Federation allows it. His teammates may also wear tee-shirts to commemorate the catastrophe.  

Moreover, Real Madrid players aim for second-place spot as they host Espanyol on Saturday at 1400 GMT.
