SANAA – Four Yemenis, including a soldier, were injured Saturday in tribal clashes in the northern Dhamar province, a security source said.
The cause of the violence remains unclear.
Security forces have deployed reinforcements to stop the fighting, according to the source.
Yemen has been dogged by turmoil since pro-democracy protests in 2011 forced autocratic president Ali Abdullah Saleh to step down after 33 years in power.
