Turkey vows to be in soldarity with Nigeria in its fight against terrorism, Turkish Foreign Ministry says
ANKARA - Turkey has strongly condemned multiple explosions that rocked Jos, capital of Nigeria's central Plateau State killing 118 people and leaving many others injured on Tuesday.
Nigeria's National Emergency Management Agency pegged at 118 the death toll but police insisted it was 46.
"We hope such terror attacks targeting Nigeria's political and social stability will come to an end immediately. Turkey will continue to be in solidarity with Nigeria in its fight against terrorism and support Nigeria's efforts for peace and stability in the country," Turkish Foreign Ministry said in written statement.
