Cesare Prandelli trained Italy from 2010 until their elimination from the World Cup
ISTANBUL – Former Italy national coach Cesare Prandelli will be the new manager of Turkey's Galatasary football club, it was announced Thursday.
President Aysal Unal said Prandelli will take over the club on July 7.
The Italian, 56, resigned in June as Italy coach after his team was eliminated in the group stages of the World Cup.
The post has been vacant since mid-June when Roberto Mancini's contract was cancelled just nine months after he took up the post.
Fenerbahce's Stoch joins Al-Ain on 1 yr. loan
Fenerbahce’s Slovak winger Miroslav Stoch is loaned for one year to United Arab Emirate’s Al-Ain, according to a statement by Fenerbahce.
The Turkish champions said in a statement that Al-Ain will pay €1 million euro for one year of Stoch’s services.
The club also said that the Stoch's contract with Fenerbahce, which is due to expire in 2016, will be extended until 2018.
The 24-year-old Slovak winger signed with Fenerbahce from Chelsea in 2010, and in the 2013-2014 season was on loan to Greece’s PAOK.
