Turkish Treasury’s Eurobond issue oversubscribed

ANKARA - The Turkish Treasury’s $1.5 billion Eurobond issue was oversubscribed 3 times against the actual issue size from more than 200 accounts, the Treasury said in statement on Thursday. 

The dollar-denominated April 2043 eurobond finalized with a nominal amount of $1.5 billion. The Treasury mandated Barclays, BNP Paribas and JP Morgan Securities for the re-tap. 

The bond has a coupon rate of 4.875 percent and a yield to investor of 4.95 percent as of Thursday.

Only 15 percent of the investors were from Turkey.
