ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has cancelled his scheduled programs at home on Friday and Saturday as he is stricken with the flu.

According to the Prime Ministry Office, his doctors advised him to rest at home for two days considering his busy schedule abroad in the coming weeks after they diagnosed him with cold and flu.

The Turkish premier will not be able to attend the provincial congresses in Turkey's northwestern Karabuk province on Friday and those in the provinces of Bursa and Yalova in the western Marmara region on Saturday.

No changes have yet been announced regarding his Sunday program in the southern Antalya and Isparta provinces.
